Customer Review: Not Canon brand batteries
The product description indicates that you will receive "Two Spare LP-E5 Batteries". The picture of the battery associated with the product is remarkably similar to the Canon brand LP-E5 battery leading one to conclude that the product contains two Canon brand batteries. What you actually receive are two Chinese knock-off LP-E5 replacement batteries. I have no idea about the quality of the Chinese batteries relative to the Canon branded batteries other than the Chinese battery is marked with a higher amp-hour rating than the Canon brand. Common sense will tell any thinking person that an accessory kit selling for less than $60 can't realistically contain two batteries that retail for more than $50 each unless there is something illegal or unethical going on. I am always concerned about retailers that lack the integrity to fully disclose what they are selling. What other issues about these knock-off batteries have not been disclosed? If the seller misrepresents what they sell, will they stand behind what they sell? Buyer beware.
